As Brimstone continues in progress, one issue is continuing to perplex me throughout the development: the similarities and differences between David and John Chevalier, and their subsequent rivalry. My goal has been when writing them to show that they are blood, and related, but are far from the same. Anyone who has a sibling can attest to having at least some differences, and most experienced rivalries. And the Second American Revolution only facilitated these tensions to rise.
